S.H.A.P.E.

This material is designed to help you better understand who God made you to be. As you begin unpacking your God-given “S.H.A.P.E.”. It is our earnest prayer that you will understand more fully what it means for you to serve God and His Kingdom so that your passion can meet God’s purpose!

Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, Experiences — these are the five things that make you, you. In that combination of spiritual gifts, you have heart, passion, and interests. Why do you think you have those interests? Because God gave them to you. And if we all liked to do the same things, there would be a lot less accomplished in the world. 

So God made you unique, and there’s nobody else like you. Why does this matter?

1. Because your SHAPE reveals God’s purpose for you.
The way you find out what God wants you to do with your life is to discover how He shaped you. But here’s the thing: God won’t force you to do his plan. You can waste your life. You can use it on all kinds of personal, self-centered things and totally miss God’s plan and purpose for your life. In fact, most people do. That’s the tragedy, and that’s why they’re so frustrated! They’re trying to be something somebody else wants them to be rather than what God wants them to be for His kingdom and glory.

2. Because your SHAPE equips you to serve God.
God has a life mission for you that nobody else on this planet can do. Maybe you’ve missed that mission. Maybe you’ve missed serving God. But you can start today to make the rest of your life the best of your life. By the empowering of the Holy Spirit, God will never ask you to do anything in life that He hasn’t already given you the ability to do for the purpose of seeing His kingdom advance.

S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Instructions

1. Fill out each section, and try to be as honest with yourself as possible. The goal of the assessment is to Narrow your God Given “S.H.A.P.E.”, down to Your Top 5 Main Focuses/Priorities in Life (With the Top 2 being the 2 Greatest Commands, given by Jesus, to Love God & Love Your Neighbor).

2. Put your name and email address at the bottom of the form, plus add the email: contact.freedomchurch@gmail.com in the space labeled "Church Leader Email". This will allow you and our team to receive the results to begin assisting in your growth, pursuit, and engagement in these areas of service. 

3. Once you have completed, please click on the "Submit SHAPE Form" box at the bottom of the page. 

NOTE: This assessment takes 30-60 minutes, and must be completed in one sitting.
